Preschool Storytime is at 10:15 am and 2:45 pm every Tuesday from September through May. Children ages 3 and up are welcome for stories, games, crafts, and fun! Follow our Facebook page for changes in schedule due to weather or illness.
STEM Club is an afterschool club for grades K-6. It focuses on Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math as well as Music and the Arts. Registration is mandatory as we need to make sure we have enough supplies, Call or message the library for more information or to register your child.
Summer Reading is open to children ages 4 to 12. (If your child has not attended school yet, please stay with them for the first few days as it can be difficult for our youngest patrons to complete crafts independently.) It runs June through the first week of August and registration is mandatory to ensure we have enough supplies. Children play games, listen to stories, and complete a craft. There is time for them to explore the library and find a great book to read and they leave with a tasty snack. Please call or message the library to register.
The Democracy Project is a non-partisan group for teens ages 13 and up. This group is sponsored by Humanities Montana and encourages teens to learn about how our government works and how they can engage with local government to support causes that are important to them. In the past three years, teens have collected oral histories from local residents, revamped the school library, and are currently creating a safe space in the school to encourage positive mental health and address attendance issues, Please call the library for more information.
We have a long running book club that meets the forth Thursday of the Month. We are also starting a film appreciation club. We periodically offer access to virtual lectures. Call the library for this month's book as well as the schedules and topics for other events,
