  • A Big Thank You To McCone County Public Health

McCone County Library has been given a generous donation from the McCone County Public  Health Department. With some of their grant money, they were able to purchase a new patron computer and monitor for the library as well as replace our checkout computer.  The most exciting donation was that they also prepaid one year’s service on our two wireless hotspots.  If you aren’t familiar with them, these hotspots can be checked out from the library for one week.  They use cell phone signals to provide wireless internet. These were previously funded by the State of Montana, but that funding is no longer available. Sue Ann Good and her department were able to step in with funding and allow us to keep this necessary service. Being able to access the internet during disaster events is important for all of McCone County!

Stop by and check out our new additions and ask about how wireless hotspots can help you!

Thank you again to Sue Ann Good and the McCone County Public Health Department!

  1. It’s been a few years since I’ve visited the library but I try to keep up with major happenings. Considering that I felt you didn’t have any surplus space then, I’m amazed at all the books, events, materials, and programs you manage to promote year round. Congrats.

We'd love to hear from you!
