Earlier this year we received a grant from If/Then Next. This grant provides access to STEM materials and encourages girls participation in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics. The materials that were purchased for our library have been catalogued and we are encouraging everyone to stop by the library and explore these new robots, construction materials, and educational games. I will be visiting every elementary school classroom in the new year to explore math, science, creativity, and construction with our local students.
If you are impatient, please visit the library at any time and I would be happy to give you a personal tour of our new materials, If you let me know 24 hours in advance, I can ensure that they are charged up and ready for you! Coming soon are the materials that were purchased with the MidRivers funds. These include over 100 books on Math, Science, Engineering, Computer Coding, Science, and Creativity, as well as more robots, interactive coding games, art supplies and more!!!
